The Story Behind Melissa’s House
Melissa’s House was created to honor Melissa.
Melissa was diagnosed with early-onset dementia at the age of 58. During her journey, she experienced firsthand the difference that professional care in a true home-like environment can make.
That experience changed our family.
Katie began noticing the same pattern in her work as a clinician — families navigating aging without enough support, without enough options that truly felt like home. There was an urgent need for a more personal, more thoughtful approach to aging.
Melissa’s House is our response to that need.
We are building a place where residents can age with dignity, surrounded by professional care, in a setting that feels warm, intimate, and supportive — not institutional.
Opening June 2026 in Norman, Oklahoma.
